I cut some holly from my neighbour’s tree and drew it. The holly drives me MAD because it is overhanging our fence and nothing will grow in our flower border now because it shelters the ground from the rain and so the ground is too dry. Also, you can’t dig under the tree because the leaves are so PRICKLY even with the thickest gardening gloves on.

But, on the upside, the birds love it and, in a bad winter, a flock of redwings can strip the whole tree of berries in one afternoon!
I used my Edding fineliner again and my Caran d’Ache colour pencils (which I bought when I was at school!!!) They really are quality colour pencils.
Is there life after Inktober? Is there another task for November?
