Can You Make Money from Your Photographs at Shutterstock?

Why not try it?

Very excited to find out that I have had my first sale (download) at Shutterstock!

You’ve probably all heard of Shutterstock but, if you haven’t:

They say:

Shutterstock is a leading global provider of high-quality licensed images, videos, and music. Shutterstock helps inspire graphic designers, creative directors, video editors, filmmakers, web developers, and other creative professionals by providing diverse content to businesses, marketing agencies and media organizations around the world. Content creators contribute their work to Shutterstock, where end users buy and use it in a diverse array of creative personal and business projects. It’s a two-sided marketplace that empowers the world’s storytellers.

I Say:

Shutterstock is a website where you can upload your photos and earn money when people download them.

I have a vast collection of digital photos and I just randomly uploaded a few and within a month I’ve had my first download!

Yeah, yeah, it’s $0.25 (I have no idea what that figure even means, but hey, it’s fun and at this rate I will have broken even on the cost of my new camera by the time I’m 107!)

But Seriously…

On balance I think that this has taken less time and effort to make $0.25 by selling digital photos online than it takes me to make $0.25 on print on demand sites such as Zazzle. Shutterstock also has great articles and tips to help you become a better photographer.

Why Not Try It Yourself?

If you want to set up your own portofolio on Shutterstock and sell your digital photos online then try this link (please be aware that this is my referral link which would mean I would get an affiliate payment if you became a successful Shutterstock Contributor and made sales!)

Referral Programme

If you become a Shutterstock Contributor, you can also earn money by using your own affiliate links to refer customers and contributors!

Get Focused

So why not get your life in focus and become a Shutterstock Contributor yourself!

But please…. remember to take your lens cap off first!

Burst Mode

Excuse me now as I have to get out of bed and get snapping!
